Frontlist: Could you please share your journey in the education industry and the pivotal moments that led to your career as the CEO and MD of MTG Learning Media Pvt? Ltd.?

Anil: My journey in the education industry began when I joined my family-run publication house, MTG Learning Media Pvt Ltd., which was started by my father, Mr. Mahabir Singh. It was initially a small venture, but I had always been passionate about education and saw great potential in expanding and enhancing our services. Hence, after completing my education, I joined MTG Learning Media Pvt Ltd. and started working here. During this time, I gained invaluable experience and knowledge about the publication in the education industry, gradually assuming a more significant role within the company.

In the past three decades, we have developed a vast library of over 2,300 books, collaborated with almost 1.96 Lacs+ Schools and institutions, and helped crores of students achieve their dream careers.

One of the pivotal moments in my career was when I realized the need to adapt and embrace technology in the education sector. I understood that traditional learning methods were becoming less effective and that there was a growing demand for interactive and digital learning materials. Realizing the increasing demand for digital learning solutions, we started working on MTG's transition from a traditional print publication house to a comprehensive digital education provider offering a wide range of educational products and services. We introduced online learning platforms, interactive e-books, and smart books to cater to the evolving needs of students and educators.

Frontlist: Your educational background encompasses both engineering and finance. How has this unique combination of technical and financial expertise influenced your leadership style and your approach to shaping education?

Anil: My background in Engineering and Finance has influenced my leadership style to a great extent. This combination has shaped my leadership style to be more results-oriented and adaptable.

My engineering background has taught me to think systematically and solve problems. This helps me approach educational challenges with a methodical mindset, analyzing root causes and finding innovative solutions. I understand the value of clear goals and data-driven decision-making. With my technical expertise, I can evaluate the effectiveness of educational resources and strategies, ensuring our publications meet the changing needs of students and educators.

On the other hand, my financial expertise has instilled in me a strong sense of fiscal responsibility and a strategic focus on business growth. I understand the financial implications of educational initiatives, allowing me to allocate resources efficiently and make sound financial decisions for the company. This knowledge also enables me to assess the profitability and sustainability of our educational products, ensuring that they generate both educational value and financial returns.

By integrating technical and financial factors, I lead with a holistic perspective to drive innovation and create impactful learning solutions.

Frontlist: MTG has established partnerships with a substantial number of schools and institutions worldwide. What strategies have been instrumental in building such extensive collaborations, and how does MTG's presence contribute to global education, benefiting both students and educators?

Anil: I have always focused on building strong partnerships with schools and institutions worldwide. One of the key strategies that have been helpful in this process is our dedication to offering high-quality educational resources and solutions.

By consistently providing valuable and reliable study materials, we have gained the trust and support of educators and students globally. This has helped us establish long-term collaborations, allowing us to bring our products and services to different educational systems and cultures.

Today, we collaborate with 1.96 lakh institutes and schools, benefiting over 6.5+ lakh educators. Collaborations share best practices, foster a global community of educators, and enhance learning experiences. Our diverse materials and innovative teaching methods narrow the education gap, improve outcomes, and facilitate knowledge sharing.

Frontlist: What are your long-term visions and aspirations for MTG Learning Media Pvt. Ltd. within the ever-evolving education landscape?

Anil: My long-term vision for MTG Learning Media is to become a household name by revolutionizing the learning system and making success simple for students, as our tagline "Success Made Simple" suggests.

Furthermore, I aim to establish MTG Learning Media as a global leader in education by expanding our reach and impact beyond national boundaries. We want to empower students across the globe with our quality academic resources and enrich their learning experiences by harnessing the power of technology. By partnering with educational institutions and organizations worldwide, we can create a network of collaboration and support that rises above geographical barriers.

Anil: As CEO of MTG Learning Media, I advise aspiring leaders in the education industry to prioritize creating meaningful impact. Education shapes the future, so passionate leaders are needed to drive positive change. I advise them to seek growth and stay open to adaptation constantly. It is crucial to prioritize adaptability and remain well-informed about the latest education trends as the field continually evolves with new technologies and teaching methods.
