Chanakya In Daily Life By Radhakrishnan Pillai

There are very few books in the market, which have a target audience of all age groups. Radhakrishnan Pillai writes about how ‘Chanakyaniti’ and ‘Arthashastra’ plays a role even in the modern day. Chanakya has been regarded as one of the greatest thinkers of all times. So much so, every problem of the 21st Century has a Chanakya way to solve it. This book covers it all. This book breaks into three segments-

  1. Chanakya in Personal Life 2. Chanakya in Professional Life 3. Chanakya in Family Life

Pillai, here, has simplified something which has always looked like a subject out of bounds for us. For the fact that Chanakya was born on this very land, such mental strength should be carried forward by us. Arthashastra and Chanakyaneeti have been long known around the world, but a lot of us have not been able to comprehend it fully. The most attractive feature is the break up of the book into three segments, each playing a vital role in our lives.

Although there are various editions of Chanakyaneeti available in the market, this is very different from what one would imagine Chanakya’s writing to be interpreted. The road to self is thought provoking, and often tough. Chanakya has always been known to simplify the toughest situations in the easiest way possible. While as a reader, one would expect the author’s input to the original scripts as well, Pillai has used the writing to the most and has put the most little of self-thoughts to justify the text. The beauty of the text is the fact that even though it is not a translation of the excerpts from either of Chanakya's writings, it is a clear analysis of those.
