                                                            | bookGeeks: | What is the mystery behind the double name? What should the fans know you as – Biju Vargheese or Pazhayedathu Paramban? |
| Biju: | Biju Vargheese is my official name. Pazhayedathu Paramban is my family name. So, I have taken it as my pen name. Pazhayedathu Paramban family is quite a known name in Thrissur, Kerala. It is a name known since centuries. But, I am the first writer in the family. It is a matter of pride for the entire family. |
| bookGeeks: | Tell us something about yourself as a person. |
| Biju: | I am a very simple, family man. I need very little space and very less resources to survive. But, I love art. Art runs in my family. I am a writer, my wife is a classical dancer, my son is a pianist and my daughter is a singer. I can’t think of a life without art. |
| bookGeeks: | We so loved Dangerous Glitter and would like to know what your inspiration behind writing it was? |
| Biju: | As I said, I need very little space and very fewer resources to survive. And that is the same case with everybody. It is the greed to accumulate, makes people compromise their morals. I want to show Indian youth that, where greed can lead them. Also, I want to tell that, there are things which are beyond human perception which can strike us without warning. We are fragile. |
| bookGeeks: | Tell us something about your professional life. |
| Biju: | As an IT manager, I am responsible for coordinating with people of different background. I have worked for very well-known companies and I have travelled around the globe. This profession allowed me to visit at least 20 countries and I have worked in all continents except Artic and Antarctic. That has given me a different perception in life. I realised how small and insignificant I am to this world. Those travels also helped me to meet many different personalities in life and they formed the behaviour of my characters. Every person has a story to tell and I have lots o stories to tell. |
| bookGeeks: | Who is your favourite author and why? |
| Biju: | Kazuo Ishiguro – “Never Let Me Go”. I love this book for its pure and original imagination. You have to read this. |
| bookGeeks: | What are your other interests outside of writing? |
| Biju: | I am a marathon runner. This year I have already completed 500 Km of running. I write poetry and I am an avid reader. I also like cooking. |
| bookGeeks: | Any new book for us to look forward to? |
| Biju: | Yes, I have already written another book and it is in the process of publishing. It will be in the market by Jan-2016. It is a story of a relationship between a father and a daughter in the background of Yemen Civil War. The name will be “Dhamar”(a place in Yemen). |
| bookGeeks: | A few words for your fans. |
| Biju: | No! I am their servant. I should not tell my fans what to do and what not to do. They have to tell me what should I do and what they would like to read. |
| bookGeeks: | A few words for bookGeeks.in |
| Biju: | I believe “bookGeeks” is a place where people can find honest and unbiased reviews of the books. It is the first place where any book lover can look for a book to read. The concept is good and I wish them all the success. |
