Tanusree started her writing career as a fashion correspondent with The Statesman, Kolkata. Later she started working with The Hindustan Times and Femina, Kolkata, as an entertainment and lifestyle journalist. Tanusree co-founded and successfully managed a Web IT start-up with her husband for over a decade before returning to a career in writing, but this time in a new avatar. In 2022, a flash fiction ‘ The Girl At The Bar’ on Medium ( an online reading portal) became a viral hit, incidentally kick-starting her career as a fiction writer. Presently, she writes for an Indian gaming company. A certified creative writer from Wesleyan University, The Love Soup marks her debut as an independent author. She lives with her family and works from her home in Kolkata.
