PVLF 2027: Voices Without Borders
PVLF is India's most unapologetic literature festival. In its sixth year, it runs as one festival across four streams - meeting in person in Delhi, reaching readers across thirty countries online, and refusing to draw lines between adult and junior, English and translation, Indian and diaspora.
The Delhi Floor - where readers, authors, illustrators and translators meet in person. No panels. No podiums. Open mics, Jr storytelling competitions, creative writing workshops, and author meet-and-greets that put writers in the same room as the people who read them.
PVLF Worldwide - the online stream where diaspora authors join from six time zones, translators take centre stage, and the conversations Indian publishing isn't having anywhere else happen here.
PVLF Junior - the 5 to 17 stream that's part of the festival, not separate from it. Where the next generation of Indian writers gets the same stage, the same audience, and the same respect as the senior names.
PVLF Excellence Awards - the only literary awards in India that are editorial-shortlisted, publicly voted, and physically awarded. 185,000+ readers in 30+ countries voted at the last edition. Year 6 returns with two new categories.
Because PVLF was never just a lit fest.
It's a position. And in 2027, that position has no borders.
PARTICIPATION FIRST
No panels. No podiums. The Delhi Floor is built around what people do - write, perform, compete, meet.
GLOBAL STAGE
Six time zones. One festival. Diaspora and Indian voices in the same programme, on the same dates.
EDITORIAL + PEOPLE
The only Indian literary awards that earn credibility from editorial and legitimacy from public vote.
