Manoj Bajpayee Memoir Leads Penguin Random House & Kuku FM’s Hindi Audiobook Launch

Penguin Random House India and Kuku FM have joined hands to create audiobooks in Hindi language by bringing out 12 best-selling titles to the market.

While this may seem like any other venture undertaken by both parties, it clearly indicates the shift towards audio as a mode of engaging audiences with stories in various regional languages. The audio adaptation of all these titles will be done for the first time, making this initiative one-of-a-kind, especially in terms of accessibility.

From mythological stories to self-growth and even from biographies to business ideas, there seems to be something on offer for everyone. From Ram Ki Gatha and Jaya - Mahabharat Ka Sachitra Punarkathan by Devdutt Pattanaik to self-development through Sach Kahun Toh by Neena Gupta, listeners can enjoy a wide range of topics and themes.

One of the most interesting additions is Manoj Bajpayee's autobiography, authored by Piyush Pandey. Manoj Bajpayee is an actor who has been appreciated for his amazing acting skills.

There are also many significant true-life stories in this lineup such as Tata Stories by Harish Bhat and Ek Poora Jeevan by Indra Nooyi, which gives an opportunity to get insight into some of the most inspiring stories of business and leadership.

Ankur Warikoo books cover finance and career success, whereas Breaking the Mould by Raghuram Rajan and Rohit Lamba takes a closer look at India’s economic future.

As per the publisher, these books have been picked for the significance they have in terms of their long-term impact and reader relevance. In addition, the Kuku FM platform perceives this partnership as an attempt to cement its position as the premium audio content destination in several languages.

It seems like this step is rather timely in view of the growing interest to audio content and its accessibility through mobile devices. What is more important, this is the first step towards the adoption of language-first audio in India, which will be followed by three new books soon.
