Frontlist | TAISI virtual event: School Culture and a Preferred Future
TAISI (The Association of International Schools of India) was created in 2005 as the first professional development platform for teachers, middle management and school leaders in India. Since then, they’ve grown considerably, and today represent an ever-evolving community of educators committed to collectively improve teaching and learning practices. The vision is to build an educational culture in India which is inclusive and quality driven, placing the integrated individual as the centre of their approach.  To further nurture this vision, they’re organising the Virtual Leadership Conference 2021. The leadership conference this year will focus on diversity, wherein key leaders from across the world will share their thoughts and wisdom. The main conference on Diversity in Education will be held from 18th - 20th Feb, 2021. Preceding the main event, there will be a number of pre-conference workshops from 15th - 17th Feb, 2021. SPONSORS This premium event is being held virtually this year and is being sponsored by renowned names such as KREA, Plaksha and Search Associates. KREA University Krea University was established under the sponsorship of a not-for-profit society, the Institute for Financial Management and Research (IFMR). Since inception, the mission of the University has been to help humanity prepare for an unpredictable world. They do this by developing a view of the future through rigorous and interdisciplinary research and education that continuously feeds the design of Interwoven Learning. In doing so, they enable high potential individuals to learn to create positive, catalytic impact ethically. Interwoven Learning brings together thought with action, arts with sciences and ultimately, connects our learnings from the past with our preparedness for the future. In a world shaped by the evolving balance between humans, machines and the environment, Interwoven Learning is a journey, not a destination; and hence the need to constantly innovate. Krea University’s core values are ethics, excellence, inclusivity and accountability. Every decision and action they take each day must, without exception, be ethical & transparent, strive towards extraordinary standards of excellence, celebrate diversity & inclusivity, and represent the most efficient & accountable use of scarce resources. Plaksha Plaksha's journey started in 2015, as a conversation among a few friends about how and why technology education needs to change. This group of people, most of them entrepreneurs and business leaders, were keen to change the landscape of engineering and technology education in India and the world. Reimagining Higher Education Foundation, a Section 8 not-for-profit company, was set up in 2017 with a mission of converting the idea into a plan. In Feb 2019, the groundbreaking campus of Plaksha University in Mohali took birth with the aim of opening the campus in August 2021. The vision of the university is to nurture the next generation of fearless leaders who will solve the toughest challenges of our planet. Search Associates Search Associates, since its inception in 1990 by John F. Magagna, has helped over 40,000 primary and secondary administrators, teachers, counselors, librarians, and interns find supreme positions in international schools around the world. Every year, they assist over 3,000 candidates who secure positions abroad, making them by far the premier international recruitment organization. They believe that their success stems from the decentralized nature of their organization, which permits them to give personal attention & support to both candidates and schools. With such highly prestigious sponsors, The Annual Leadership Conference 2021 promises to be a grand success already. To know more about the event, visit www.taisi-india.org/event
