Author Fang Fang releases book about the time of lockdown in Wuhan city

Wuhan Diary: Dispatches from a Quarantined City, a book written by the popularly known Chinese writer Fang Fang. The book is published by one of the star publishers, Harper NonFiction. The world is in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic. People are facing nationwide lockdown and following the quarantine lifestyle. Wuhan city was the epicenter of coronavirus. The Chinese government has forced a lockdown in the city on 25 January 2020. Fang started publishing her online diaries. She started writing about the psychological impact of forced isolation, the role of the internet as both community lifeline and source of misinformation, and most tragically, the lives of neighbors and friends taken by the deadly virus. The book will be translated into 15 languages. The audio of the book will be released on 26th May. Wuhan Diaries also talks about the daily life challenges of forced lockdown. She writes: The virus is the common enemy of humankind; that is a lesson for all humanity. The only way we can conquer this virus and free ourselves from its grip is for all members of humankind to work together. Fang dedicated the book to the people of Wuhan city.
