The HRD minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank has launched an information booklet called, “Safe online learning in the times of COVID-19”.
NCERT and UNESCO have worked together to develop this booklet. As India is still fighting from the Covid-19 pandemic, it’s time to highlight the importance of online education and learning.
Social distancing is the necessity to survive in this pandemic. The HRD ministry has launched several online platforms for students to keep up with their education in these hard times.
The outbreak of coronavirus has brought a huge digital revolution. The Union minister said that the HRD ministry and NCERT are committed to ensuring a safe and secure online environment for children and teachers.
The jointly developed booklet will facilitate in raising awareness of our students and teachers as well as ensure timely action in cases of cyberbullying.
The booklet also highlights the negative consequences of cyberbullying and ways to eliminate it.
