Brijesh Srivastava is a veteran infrastructure leader and IIT Roorkee alumnus with over thirty-six years of experience in large-scale public development. He built his career principally with RITES Ltd., the Government of India's premier multidisciplinary consultancy and engineering organisation, rising to the position of General Manager. His work has spanned building construction, railway infrastructure, industrial projects, and large-scale programme management, across assignments funded by the Government of India, state governments, public sector undertakings, and international agencies including the World Bank.

Across a career spent navigating tender processes, field supervision, quality control, and the intricate bureaucratic labyrinths of public works, Brijesh identified a critical, unaddressed flaw: professional India obsesses over the structural resilience of what it builds, while almost entirely neglecting the cognitive resilience of the people who build it.

Having faced the relentless "load tests" of high-stakes professional life firsthand, he developed the Micro-Mindfulness framework at the heart of The Mindful Engineer, a pragmatic, data-driven approach to stress management built for people who have no patience for spiritual pretense, only for what actually works.
