Frontlist | Book lovers throng UGBF in Udhampur

Book lovers, children throng Udhampur garrison book fair being organized by the northern command of Indian Army. According to a statement issued here, the school children from Army Public School Udhampur, Dhar road as well as Kendriya Vidyalaya No-1 & No -2 and families of Army personnel visited the book fair. A creative activity corner which gave a platform to children to express their favorite books and authors attracted high attendance from the book lovers. Catering to tastes of all readers with books on myriad genres, the book fair successfully brought literary fervour to the environment. In today’s time when the generation remains glued to the mobile phones, it was heartening to see the young crowd vying to select books.

The event marked the progress towards normalcy post trials and tribulations of COVID-19 pandemic.
