A Hundred little frames - by Preeti Shenoy
A Hundred little frames by Preeti Shenoy is a brilliant read with an out of the box story. The author beautifully pens down a heart-warming family drama around the bond of friendship between a young man, who has recently lost his job in the city, and his aging yet humble grandfather, living in his ancestral home in a small village in Kerala. She is one of those authors who can talk about a sensitive topic, who can dwell into human relationships in such a manner that the reader can effortlessly relate and root for her main characters. Her language is simplistic that keeps us glued to her books. The end of the book has indeed left us teary-eyed.. It is a cute love story, and a suspense thriller mixed into one. Two worlds of two different era are intertwined into one. The protagonist learns about life living amidst the greenery and learns about love from the story of his grandfather. Seems like a lot of effort was given for the details put into the book regarding medical treatments and locations involved. I would highly recommend this to those who wish to read contemporary books with a touch of tradition & thought-provoking facts.
