Vikkas Arun Pareek, a British Indian writer, discovers his creative voice in the fields of drama and children's books. Born in the colorful city of Jaipur, Rajasthan, Pareek's life has taken him to a home in London, where he lives with his family. His career also reaches into the IT division of an international bank.
Of his notable literary pursuits, Pareek's drama novel, "Letters to My Mother," was released in August 2023 under the illustrious banner of Vishwakarma Publishers.
His work in children's literature is characterized by "The Adventures of Blue Flamingo," a highly readable series in two volumes. These wonderfully illustrated story books not only delight children but also provide them with sound moral lessons, leading to character building. The commendable fact is that these books have been vetted by the Rajasthan Government and have survived a highly competitive selection process for being included in more than 50 government school libraries in the state—a testament to their educational merit.
Pareek's "The Adventures of Blue Flamingo Ganga Series" breaks age barriers, aiming to impart cultural, religious, mythological, and environmental consciousness through engaging storytelling.
For the very young readers, Pareek provides "The Adventures of Blue Flamingo – Personalized," a charming cartoon book designed for the 3-6 years age group. This creative effort consists of four interesting stories, each punctuated by activities intended to educate as well as challenge young minds.
In drama, Pareek's "Voices of Silent Creek" is a touching play written and set in rural India, revealing the day-to-day challenges and injustices experienced by women. Published in 2015, this gripping piece has captured the attention of peers, critics, and readers alike. Pareek's commitment to his cause does not stop at writing
