Snigdha Jha is a freelance writer and academician of considerable merit. She holds a unique distinction of not only post graduating from University of Delhi but also serving as a Guest Assistant Professor of English in several colleges of Delhi University.

After successful submission of her PhD thesis way back in December 2015 she started giving vent to her emotions through writing and mentoring. She has to credit numerous poetry and short stories published in reputed national, international and world anthologies.

Two years in tandem she successfully published two solo anthologies of poems. Both are an expression of grief arising out of untimely demise of her beloved father equally loved maternal grandmother and maternal uncle. Miscellaneous MEANDERINGS published in 2025 was conceived on father's first death anniversary. It won her 21st century Emily Dickinson Award.

Another bilingual anthology titled अनकही Unsaid, Unkept, Unexplored Emotions published on 14th July 2026 contains 56 poems in English and 46 in Hindi..Right now after gaining experience of teaching as a Guest faculty in colleges of Delhi University and Amity University Patna she now is a permanent faculty at Government aided Institute of Bihar. Her workplace being in remote suburbs of Bihar gives her a chance to mentor the under privileged students of Bihar.

This provides her mental solace more than few paper currency notes. This huge shift in mentorship from metropolitan to village courtyard has However also enriched her writing pallete with colours of varied and varying emotions
