Seven indie UK publishers, including flipped eye publishing, Les Fugitives, Rough Trade Books, and Repeater Books, will participate in "the world’s smallest publisher fair" next month.

Tangerine Press will host the Uncorrected Independent Publishers' Fair on June 11th at Peckham Pelican in London as part of the Camberwell Arts Festival.

Other presses exhibiting their books include Prototype, which specialises in fiction, poetry, and interdisciplinary projects, and Strange Attractor.

The festivities will begin at 11 a.m. Authors from all seven presses will read from their books, including Erica Van Horn (Les Fugitives), Astrid Alben (Prototype), and Arianna Reiche (Tangerine Press), while Richard MacLean Smith, host and creator of the Unexplained podcast, will perform a live reading of the mystery episode "Hexham Heads," which recounts strange events in 1970s Northumberland.

Lilies in my Brain, an alternative indie UK-based band, will perform an acoustic session in the late afternoon. The fair is free and accessible to the public, and all publishers will have books for sale.

Founder of Tangerine Press Michael Curran said: “It’s wonderful to be back at the Peckham Pelican with the Uncorrected Independent Publishers’ Fair for the first time since 2019. We have seven of the best indie presses in the country all under one roof in relaxed surroundings. It isn’t a stuffy hall. You can order a beer, chill out and listen to the readings from authors and poets representing each of the publishers.”
