our Publishing Perspectives readership is very aware, of course, of the Society of Authors’ administration of a large roster of awards in fiction, nonfiction, poetry, short stories, longer forms, and children’s content—a group of 11 honors that in the aggregate provide some £111,000 in prize money (US$142,200).
