"Worthy," Jada Pinkett Smith's new biography, may not be the end of her writing career. Following the revelation of their separation and her headline-making memoir press tour, Pinkett Smith said in an interview with Extra special reporter Carlos Greer to promote the book that she is in talks with Will Smith to publish a new book together.

"I know Will and I are talking about writing a book, together, called 'Don't Try This at Home,'" he continued.

Variety reached out to Pinkett Smith's publisher for more information but did not receive a response.

Pinkett Smith previously stated on the "School of Greatness" podcast, "I hope one day we can write a book together." And exactly how much we've been through. And all the doors of relationship that we've passed through. And there will be many more in the future. Right? But... I think the process he's going through right now would be extremely beneficial to a lot of males."

Smith and Pinkett Smith married in 1997, and it wasn't until the latter's current book tour that she announced they divorced in 2016. They were not there at the 2022 Oscars, when Smith struck Chris Rock in the face for making a joke about Pinkett Smith.

Smith revealed in a recent email to the New York Times that Pinkett Smith's revelations about their marriage in her biography "woke him up." He realised that "she had lived a life more on the edge" and that "she is more resilient, clever, and compassionate" than he had previously understood.

"When you've been with someone for more than half your life, a sort of emotional blindness sets in," Smith said. "And you can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties."

On Oct. 16, during an in-person interview at New York City's Perelman Performing Arts Centre, Pinkett Smith recalled how she and Smith "did some really deep work together" after he smacked Rock on stage during the Oscars ceremony.

"It clicked in while I was sitting at the Oscars." "It was as soon as I said, 'Oh snap, you hit Chris?'" According to Pinkett Smith. "I said, 'I'm riding with you.'" I didn't come here as your wife, but I'm leaving as your wife because we're going to have to deal with a storm together. I'm not going to abandon you."

Smith returned to his seat after slapping Rock and yelled, "Keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth." Pinkett Smith told NBC News that she was taken aback because Smith had not called her his "wife" in a long time.

"First and foremost, I'm stunned, because I'm not there. "In a long time, we haven't called each other husband and wife," Pinkett Smith remarked. "I'm thinking, 'What's going on right now?'" 'Will you refrain from mentioning my wife's name?' I'm scared about Will because I'm not sure what's going on."

The album "Worthy" is now available for purchase.
