Uzbekistan Concludes Showcase at Riyadh Book Fair 2025

The Uzbekistan Pavilion brought its programs to a close at the Riyadh International Book Fair 2025 after a successful series of multi-day activities that demonstrated the country's rich literature and culture.

The pavilion, as guest of honor at the fair, featured a wide variety of activities, including literature seminars and dialogue sessions, Arabic calligraphy and Islamic inscriptions exhibitions, and traditional music performances.

The dialogue sessions focused specifically on the cultural relations history between Uzbekistan and Arab nations and the key role played by translation in facilitating cultural exchange, SPA added.

Guests were able to study major works of prominent Uzbek authors translated into Arabic and participate in meetings with writers and intellectuals. The sessions offered insights into contemporary Uzbek literature, including poetry and prose works that express the development of the cultural environment of Uzbekistan.

The choice of Uzbekistan as guest of honor testified to the Saudi Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission's adherence to international openness, offering multifaceted literary experiences enriching the local cultural life and opening new areas for communication and exchange of experience.
