On October 16, Union Home and Cooperatives Minister Amit Shah will launch medical studies in Hindi by releasing MBBS first-year books in Hindi at Bhopal's Lal Parade Ground.

The launch event is meticulously planned. On Sunday, Vishwas Kailash Sarang, Minister of Medical Education, inspected the venue at Lal Parade Ground and issued necessary directives to the concerned officials.

Minister Sarang stated that the Madhya Pradesh government's gift to the country on Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav is 'Medical education in Hindi.' In response to the victorious Prime Minister Narendra Modi's call, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan decided to begin an MBBS course in Hindi.

He expressed happiness that the work of preparing the Hindi syllabus for MBBS had been completed within the time limit set by the Medical Education Department.

Minister Sarang announced that the MBBS first-year Hindi course books would be released in a grand ceremony on October 16 at Lal Parade Ground in Bhopal, with Union Home and Cooperative Minister Shah as the chief guest.

This is an important day for the Medical Education Department, Madhya Pradesh, the country, and Hindi. The program will involve thousands of students from medical schools across the state.

Madhya Pradesh will be the first state in the country to begin medical education in Hindi, according to Minister Sarang.

Gandhi Medical College will launch a pilot project for an MBBS course in Hindi.

Anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry will be taught in Hindi in all 13 government medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh beginning with the current session.

At the same time, it will be implemented in the second year of MBBS in the following session.

Minister Sarang also clarified that studies in Hindi mean that this arrangement is being made concurrently to assist students studying in the Hindi medium. Along with English books, Hindi books will be available.

A well-organized curriculum for Hindi conversion of books has been prepared by duly constituting a Hindi cell 'Mandar'. The task force is made up of medical experts.

On October 15, the Madhya Pradesh Medical Education Department will hold an exhibition based on various innovations such as MBBS in Hindi, Knowledge Sharing Mission, Medical Student Insurance Scheme, Inclusion of Value-Based Medical Education in MBBS Foundation Course, Ease of Health Services, and Medical Incubation Center.

Mayor Malti Rai, Commissioner of Medical Education Dr. Sanjay Goyal, Director of Medical Education Dr. Jiten Shukla, Divisional Commissioner Gulshan Bamra, Dean Gandhi Medical College Dr. Arvind Rai, Hamidia Hospital Superintendent Dr. Ashish Gohia, and departmental officers were among those present during the inspection.
