NEW DELHI: Officials claimed that Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia started a three-day exhibition commemorating the liberation movement at the Delhi Secretariat on Wednesday.
Nine vanity publishers have been invited to take part in the event, which will feature books on the theme of "independence fighters" and the "Indian liberation movement," according to the organizers.
Every year, the General Administration Department (Delhi Secretariat Library) hosts a book fair to solicit reader input on the books to be purchased for the library.
According to an official announcement, the exhibition could not take place last year because of the country's current COVID-19 scenario.
The 75th Anniversary of India's Independence is being commemorated this year with the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.'
