The major goal of these events is to encourage creative and artistic talents among fairgoers of all ages, particularly youngsters.

The 42nd Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) will feature more than 60 events and seminars led by brilliant illustrators and artists from around the world who specialise in comics, manga, and anime.

This year's SIBF seminars promise a wide roster of activities spanning more than 15 different topics, each digging into a different methodology.

Drawing with fragrant stones, leather illustration, comic colouring, digital comics, 3D sketching, e-games, website design, and other creative mediums are examples.

Participants in the "Drawing with Aromatic Stones" course will learn how to make aromatic stones of various forms and colours while picking appropriate fragrances. The "Drawing on Leather" class allows visitors to experiment with cutting-edge techniques for embellishing leather wallets, while the "Digital Covers" workshop instructs participants on how to create engaging covers for digital comic books using specialised software.

The "Colouring Comics" session focuses on the use of colour effects in comics and teaches how to use digital colouring tools to bring characters to life. The "Wooden Bookmarks" workshop promotes the construction of character-themed wooden bookmarks, each with its own unique costume and attributes. During the "Digital Comic" session, kids will learn the principles of producing digital comics through simple, user-friendly methods.

Meanwhile, the "Augmented Reality Comics" class takes youngsters and young enthusiasts on an experience using augmented reality apps, where digital elements are effortlessly blended into genuine comic storylines. The classes "Comics on Pebbles" and "Magnetic Comics" teach how to draw selected characters or scenes from comic books on pebbles, with the latter expanding abilities to make ornamental things appropriate for display on magnetic surfaces.

The "E-games" class will teach participants the fundamentals of creating simple and pleasant video games using the well-known "Scratch" software. Similarly, participants in the "Designing Digital Games" session will be taught the foundations of "game design" in order to build a fantastic game that is simple to play, and the "3D Drawing" workshop will be a fun and informative exercise in which participants will make simple 3D images using the "Blender" programme.

Finally, the "Digital Content" and "Digital Websites" seminars will teach participants the newest Adobe Photoshop techniques and other tools for creating digital content that conveys their creative ideas and aspirations. Participants will also become acquainted with the most recent artificial intelligence tools, such as "Adobe Firefly," to assist in the creation of professional websites.
