The Kerala Literature Festival has Established a Residency Programme for Writers in Vagamon | Frontlist

The Kerala Literature Festival will feature over 500 global speakers and 250 workshops spread over six sites on Kozhikode coastline this year.

The Vagamon Residency has been unveiled by the Kerala Literature Festival (KLF) as a new refuge for writers and artists. The residency, located in the tranquil hills of Vagamon, is intended to give a private environment for creative folks to improve their skills. The move comes ahead of the festival's seventh edition, which takes place later this month. This lovely setting will welcome a small group of authors and artists from India and outside for a four to eight-week residence.
"The Vagamon Residency embraces the essence of literary exploration and is our commitment to fostering creativity."

"The programme invites writers and artists from all over the world to embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery," said Ravi Deecee, KLF's main facilitator. Through numerous events, the literary festival has been facilitating reading culture and supporting aspiring writers.KLF will cover the expenditures of chosen writers and artists staying at The Vagamon Residency. Both published and prospective writers are welcome to apply for the residency.

The KLF will feature over 500 global speakers and 250 workshops spread across six venues on Kozhikode Beach this year. Türkiye will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the republic at KLF with music, dancing, food, and many art forms. The United Kingdom, Wales, Spain, Japan, the United States, Malaysia, Spain, and France will also take part.
