The Goa Book Fair's second edition has been set for January 4-8, 2024. The Dogears Bookshop in Margao is co-organizing the event.

Building on the success of last year's event, which took place from February 9 to 13, 2023, the event anticipates a large participation of enthusiastic booksellers and eager book consumers.

"We expect schools and colleges to visit the book fair again this year," said Leonard J Fernandes of Publishing Next. As an extra means of enticing participation, we are also planning more events for children and adults this season.

Overall, the book fair serves the entire Goa market as well as book purchasers from nearby areas like Sawantwadi, Belgaum, and Karwar. Books of all genres and languages, including Konkani, Marathi, Hindi, Kannada, and English, are popular."

Stationery vendors can also attend the book expo.

The Ravindra Bhavan in Margao, Goa, will host the Goa Book Fair.

"The location is ideal for a book fair of the magnitude we aspire to, as well as providing ample parking for visitors, being close to transit points and relatively inexpensive stays," Fernandes added. We have a total of 50 spots available. The book fair will be held outside, but all stalls will be under a fully covered area."
