Frontlist | New Book ‘Girls with Bright Futures’ is Suspenseful in Seattle
This month, Girls with Bright Futures hit the shelves with the page-turning story of the great, scandalous lengths mothers are willing to go to in order to admit their daughters to a competitive college. Written by Seattle-based co-authors Tracy Dobmeier and Wendy Katzman, the novel takes place in a privileged community within the emerald city. The book has received many recommendations, including those from Newsweek, Refinery 29, and POPSUGAR. In fact, POPSUGAR included the book on their list of 42 Books Everyone Will Be Talking About in 2021, while dubbing it as “…a thriller for the post-college-admission-scandal age.” To celebrate last week’s launch, Third Place Books and Island Books hosted events.
