Jeddah Book Fair 2025 Set to Begin on December 11

If you are still feeling that the Riyadh Book Fair had ended too prematurely, here is some good news for you: very shortly, the Jeddah version will take place. Bibliophiles, time to rejoice. Welcome to the Jeddah Book Fair 2025.

Happening from Thursday December 11 through to Saturday December 20, this year's book fair is partly organized by the Ministry of Culture.

The fair brings together a unique potpourri of literary works, publishing exhibits, and cultural activities all under one roof in Jeddah. Visitors can look forward to catching local and international authors, enjoying lectures, and participating in cultural discussions.

It aims to develop the writing and publishing industry in the country by encouraging publishers, writers, and readers to attend the fair.

Children will also find something to their liking at the Jeddah Book Fair. As in previous years, a pavilion has been allocated for them. Activities last year combined learning with playing, entertainment, theater shows, hand-puppet workshops, fashion, as well as the culinary arts and music. Most importantly, there was a storyboard-making workshop, among many other activities.

The Jeddah Book Fair is actually the third book fair initiative organized by the Saudi Literature, Publishing, and Translation Commission. In 2025,  the commission organized the Madinah Book Fair held in June and the Riyadh Book Fair in October.

The Riyadh International Book Fair this year had free entry, but tickets were required; we will bring more on the Jeddah edition soon.

The 2025 Jeddah Book Fair will also have a specific pavilion for manga and comic book lovers, with special offers on various works. And there are some great deals to be had in the discounted section.
