Interview with Chandana Singh, Author of “Mystical Encounters”

Frontlist: Your book, Mystical Encounters, shares divine messages received through dreams, meditations, and energy healing. What prompted you to share these sacred experiences with the world now?

Chandana: For over a decade, I had been receiving spiritual messages - through dreams, meditations, and energy healing sessions. I had been journaling them quietly, without any plan to turn them into a book. But something shifted a couple of years ago.

During a particularly intense phase, I had a vivid past-life memory of being an energy healer in this very region - someone who worked with herbs and energy but was silenced for it. As that memory surfaced, I felt something unlock within me. It was as if the voice that had once been suppressed finally returned.

That is when Mystical Encounters began to write itself. The book became a channel - not just for the divine messages I had received over the years, but also for reclaiming and sharing a sacred voice that had waited lifetimes to speak.

Frontlist: Among all the encounters described, was there one particular message or divine presence that shook your core or redirected your life path significantly?

Chandana: Yes - there was a surreal and unforgettable vision of Hanuman in which he clearly asked me to do a Prana Pratishtha. At that time, I did not fully understand what it meant, but I was deeply shaken by the experience. It stayed with me.

A year later, as I got initiated into Kriya Yoga and began working more consciously with the breath, the meaning started to unfold. I realized Hanuman - as Vayuputra, the controller of Prana, had been guiding me toward a sacred inner process: the installation of Prana within, through breath and awareness.

That encounter redirected my entire spiritual path. It made me realize that Prana Pratishtha is not just a temple ritual - it is also an inner activation, a reawakening of the divine force within us. That message became one of the core foundations of Mystical Encounters.

Frontlist: For readers new to spirituality, how would you suggest they begin to access the kind of higher-dimensional guidance you describe in your book?

Chandana: Start with a regular spiritual practice - something simple and consistent. One of the most accessible ways is to connect with your breath. The breath is the bridge between the body, mind, and soul. When you begin to just be with your breath, it naturally strengthens your intuition and opens the doorway to inner guidance.

My own journey began with learning Reiki, a gentle spiritual healing practice that transformed my life. It opened the gates to deeper awareness and brought in not just divine guidance but also powerful spiritual modalities like Shiva Yoga and Shakti practices.

Even today, Reiki remains one of my favourite energy practices - one that I continue to teach and share with deep joy. It is gentle, accessible, and profoundly transformative for those ready to begin their journey.

Frontlist: You’ve had profound interactions with deities like Hanuman, Ganesha, Mahashakti, and Vishnu. How do these energies differ in the way they guide, protect, or empower us?

Chandana: Each divine energy has its own frequency, purpose, and way of guiding us - and I have experienced them entering my life in different stages, depending on what my soul needed at the time.

Hanuman has always felt the most accessible - like a divine big brother. As a devotee himself, he responds deeply to devotion and surrender. He was the first deity I connected with as a child. His energy is dynamic and rooted in breath - in fact, many breath-based practices like Pranayama are linked to him.

Ganesha, to me, is the great opener of gateways both to Shakti and Shiva. He clears energetic and karmic obstacles and holds the key to deeper practices. After I consciously connected with his energy, I found myself drawn to Shakti Sadhanas, and later to Shiv Yoga practices. That alignment felt almost divinely orchestrated.

Shakti is the transformative force - the Mother, the saviour, the protector. She shows up powerfully during life transitions, endings, and rebirths. I feel that the best way to connect with her is as a benevolent mother; her energy is fierce, yet nurturing and immensely healing.

Shiva, I feel, is the most transcendental and the most difficult to attain. His is the path of asceticism, silence, and deep detachment. But his healing energy is the strongest. When it arrives, it brings a profound inner stillness and transformation that is beyond words.

Ultimately, I have felt that all these energies - Hanuman, Ganesha, Shakti, Shiva - lead you toward the Supreme Consciousness, which I experience as Narayana or Vishnu: the cosmic preserver and divine balancer.

In my life, the unfolding has happened step by step, with different energies becoming predominant at different phases. I simply flow with whatever comes and embrace what is meant for me.

Frontlist:  You transitioned from a highly successful corporate career to becoming a spiritual mentor and healer. What was the turning point that led you toward this inner calling?

Chandana: The real turning point came during a powerful Navaratri vision of Ma Kali. It was Kaal Ratri - the night associated with her fiercest form — when I had a live vision of her energy appearing through thunder and lightning. The vision shook me deeply. I intuitively knew that something significant was about to shift.

Although I had been learning, practicing, and applying spiritual skills like Reiki, Past Life Regression, and Energy Healing for many years, I had not yet fully stepped into this path professionally. That vision of Kali became the final push — as if she was saying, “Now is the time.”

Soon after, my outer life mirrored the inner shift. I went through a sudden medical emergency and found myself making major life decisions that I had long been contemplating. In retrospect, I see that Ma Kali’s energy cleared the karmic weight that was holding me back and catalyzed the transition I had been preparing for over many years.

Frontlist:  As someone blending ancient wisdom with modern healing modalities like Reiki and Energy Medicine, how do you see this integration helping today’s fast-paced world?

Chandana: In today’s fast-paced, hyper-connected world, people are constantly looking for tools to feel grounded, balanced, and spiritually aligned - without needing to step away from their day-to-day responsibilities. That is where the integration of ancient wisdom with modern healing modalities becomes so valuable.

Through my Tejaswini Mobile App, I have tried to make these powerful tools accessible in a practical and relatable way. Whether it is Energy Healing methods, Breathwork, Guided Meditations, or Inner Yoga practices - they are all rooted in timeless traditions but offered in formats that suit modern lifestyles.

For example, Reiki - which I have practiced and taught for years - is one of the simplest yet most powerful ways to restore energetic harmony. And when combined with ancient principles from yogic traditions like Chakra Work, it not only amplifies the healing process but also makes the practice more structured and explainable.

This kind of integration empowers people to heal themselves and tap into higher guidance without needing to retreat from the world. It supports spiritual growth within real life - and I believe that is exactly what our times call for.

Frontlist: Your spiritual work through Tejaswini and your live show has reached many seekers. How has engaging with such a wide audience influenced your personal spiritual growth?

Chandana: As a Lightworker, I see my role as bringing in a certain frequency of energy - holding it, anchoring it, and transmitting it to those who resonate with it or need it. Platforms like social media and live shows have become sacred spaces where this transmission becomes possible at a collective level.

Engaging with a wide audience constantly pushes me to refine myself — to become a clearer receptor, a stronger channel, and a more conscious transmitter of this energy.

Whether it is through creativity, communication, presence, or innovation, my aim is to keep raising the frequency I hold and share- so that, together, we uplift not just ourselves but also the collective consciousness.

This is what true Ascension means to me - not just individual growth, but evolving together as a community, in tune with the planet’s rising energies.

And as more people are drawn to grounded, practical spirituality, I feel we are entering a phase where spiritual principles are being integrated into everyday life - which is a huge leap in collective evolution.

Frontlist: What is the core message you hope Mystical Encounters imparts to readers—especially those standing at the threshold of their own spiritual awakening?

Chandana: The core message of Mystical Encounters is that we are all channels of the Divine. Each of us carries the innate ability to connect with higher guidance - through intuition, dreams, energy work and inner knowing.

You do not have to be a mystic, healer, or spiritual teacher to receive divine messages. You just must learn to tune in, trust, and listen to that quiet inner voice that has always been speaking.

Whether you are just awakening or already walking a spiritual path, Mystical Encounters reminds you that guidance is always available, signs are everywhere, and the sacred often speaks in the most personal and unexpected ways.
