Academician from Maharashtra Shinde Creates World Record by Publishing 201 E-Books in a Single Day

Dr Vaibhavkumar Bhagwanrao Shinde, academician, researcher, author, musician and an individual from Maharashtra has broken a world record by publishing 201 original e-books having unique ISBNs on a single day.

These 201 e-books have been published digitally on July 10, 2026, and have already been listed by the London Book of World Records and Book of World Records in the category of “Maximum Number of E-Books Published by an Individual Author on a Single Day”.

This series consists of 30 biographies, 13 books on poetry, 35 engineering and technology books, 57 thought collection books and 66 book summary books in languages of English, Hindi and Marathi.

The books were released by Beyond Time Publishers in preparation for digital release on more than 50 platforms that include Google Play Books, Amazon Books and Draft2Digital.

Even though the record-breaking feat was accomplished in one day, the process took almost a decade. It took Dr Shinde many years to write, research, compile, translate, edit, proofread and prepare the books for publication.

His biographical books come from his personal experience of being a musician. In these books, he talks about the prominent individuals in Indian and South Asian music, such as Jagjit Singh, Mehdi Hassan, Begum Akhtar, Lata Mangeshkar, Pandit Bhimsen Joshi, Pandit Ravi Shankar, Ustad Bismillah Khan and M.S. Subbulakshmi.

The other major category of the project is the writings and speech works of Dr B. R. Ambedkar. Dr Shinde made it possible to make Ambedkar’s ideas more accessible through extraction and translation of some content into English, Hindi and Marathi languages and theme-based books of Ambedkar’s speeches.

One of the important logistics in the feat was ensuring that each of the 201 titles got 201 individual ISBN numbers from the appropriate Government of India department. This is because each title had to be processed individually to meet all of the metadata, descriptions and categorization.

Dr. Shinde is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Renewable Energy Engineering in the College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth, Akola. Dr. Shinde is qualified in Agricultural Engineering and holds an M. Tech and Ph. D from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University.

In essence, the record is not simply a one day publishing feat. It is the result of a lot of years of research and literary works put together on a single day.
