There's a lot to do in the D.C. area in the coming days, and WTOP has you covered with our weekly list of local events to look forward to.

Every Thursday, we'll post a compilation of Things to Do in the D.C. region.
The Capital Art Book Fair, taking place this weekend at Eastern Market's North Hall, will feature over 100 artists, independent presses, and designers. This is the second edition of the event, which will showcase a wide range of printed media, from graphic novels to specialty art magazines, DIY zines, and professionally published art books.

"The Capital Art Book Fair will be a feast for the senses. It will provide viewers with not only a visual voyage, but also a tactile one, which is frequently lacking in the art world," said Phil Hutinet, publisher and editor-in-chief of the local visual arts newspaper East City Art, as well as the Capital Art Book Fair.

Hutinet told WTOP that this year's book festival will feature the Glenstone Museum, Multiple Exposures Gallery, the University of Montana Press, and three overseas exhibitors from Belgium, China, and Korea.

The Capital Art Book Fair, which runs Saturday and Sunday, is free and accessible to the public.
