PragatiE Vichaar Literature Festival 2022 began the brave new journey of a reader-first literary revolution. The PragatiE Vichaar Literature Festival 2022 was held at The Claridges Hotel, New Delhi in partnership with Nielsen Book India and the Federation of Indian Publishers (FIP), brought together India's literary thinkers, new authors, publishers and readers together - it was an launch of a movement to change the way we honour the literary world.
PVLF 2022 established the framework for a data- evidence based, democratic awards ecosystem and unveiled a digital format that allowed mass engagement. It was the first time an Indian lit fest combined author participation, with real-time book data and public voting to celebrate literary merit.

Author Marathon 24x7:
The 24-hour, completely non-stop Author Marathon was one of the most unique segments of PVLF 2022 — a relay of literature with over 70 authors from multiple regions and genres.
We had debut storytellers and the most celebrated of voices sharing their stories, ideas and inspiration.
This digital-first format, made it accessible pan India and allowed each author to talk without a filter, panel or even time.
It was bold, it was long and it was brilliant — the heartbeat of PVLF 2022.
PVLF Excellence Awards 2022:
PVLF 2022 introduced three major award verticals, as a means of celebrating excellence within the literary ecosystem, in its entirety:
Author Excellence Awards
Awarded to outstanding books across genres and languages, these awards were unique in that they were voted on by the public as well as judged using Nielsen retail data, without a jury.

These awards exist to recognize the houses which have authors, and facilitate real impact when publishing, included:

Importance of PVLF 2022:
PVLF 2022 laid out a clear blueprint: In a young, heterogeneous, and excitable country like India, literature deserves a spotlight that is all three things: transparent, inclusive, and culturally relevant.
With the launch of the 24x7 Author Marathon, and subsequent data-driven and reader-voted awards, and goal-breaking engagement, PVLF 2022 led to something monumental, something bigger than literature.
PVLF was not simply an idea. It was here - and it had readers.
