Zócalo International Book Fair 2025 Dates Announced

One of the activities not to be missed at year's end is the International Book Fair in the Zócalo. This is an activity in which you will not only be able to find all types of books, but also cultural events and even musical performances.
Hundreds of publishers take part annually, including independent ones. The good news is that there is already a scheduled date for the 2025 edition. Are you ready to travel?

When will be the Zócalo International Book Fair 2025?

The XXV edition of the Zócalo Book Fair will take place from Saturday, October 11 to Sunday, October 19, according to a call published by the Ministry of Culture on its official website.
It is free to access and books are available for sale at various prices. Each year all types of books are sold: novels, children's books, fiction and much more. To give you some idea, 300 publishers came last year, so there will be a lot to pick from.
Additionally, in every edition there are editorial presentations and all sorts of activities. More information about this event will be disclosed later; meanwhile, save the date.
What else will be happening at the end of the year in CDMX? Believe it or not, there are already quite a few events lined up for the end of the year. If you're on the lookout for Day of the Dead items, we have to let you know that the Mega Catrinas Procession will be on Sunday October 26, and the massive ofrenda in the Zócalo will be October 25 to November 2.
And that's not the end of it! The procession of monumental alebrijes will be on October 18 at 12:00 noon; whereas the Night of the Stars will be held on November 29, 2025.
