Vaishali Sarmah is a communication professional currently working at Nokia. Passionate about language, creativity and human connection, she has always found comfort in expressing emotions through writing. Born into a family of distinguished writers, she grew up surrounded by literature, thoughtful conversations and a deep respect for language. She is the daughter of Dr. Roman Sarmah, Padmashri awardee, renowned writer, editor and Lawyer and Mala Sarma, an accomplished writer whose unwavering encouragement inspired her to embrace writing as a sincere expression of life. 

Before entering the corporate world, Vaishali worked as a cabin crew professional, an experience that allowed her to travel widely, connect with people from different walks of life, and witness countless human emotions. Those experiences continue to shape her perspective and find their way into her poetry. Beyond writing, Vaishali finds joy in painting and graphic designing, where colours and creativity become another language for expressing what words cannot. Whether through poetry, art, or design, she hopes to create work that resonates with people and leaves them feeling understood, inspired, and a little less alone. 

I Give My World To You is her first published book, and she hopes it is the first of many heartfelt conversations with her readers.
