Arrangements are in progress for facilitating the 45th Kolkata International Book Fair from January 31 notwithstanding the spike in Covid-19 cases with coordinators expressing on Tuesday that publishers might need to starve assuming it is dropped for the current year too.
The book fair was dropped last year because of the pandemic. "We are confident with regards to holding the fair. I'm observing the plans at the carnival at Central Park in Salt Lake. We have not halted the arrangements," Publishers' and Book Sellers' ...
