BolognaBookPlus, the general trade publishing brand extension, is organised in collaboration with AIE, the Italian Publishers Association. The Bologna Licensing Trade Fair/Kids brings together the world's leading licensing and entertainment companies for children.

Content production and programme planning are already underway across all three brands, and will reflect worldwide industry trends while also providing specialty training and professional international networking, according to organisers.

Despite Brexit problems and the absence of some foreign publishers from the US and Asia, the in-person return of this year's event was widely regarded as a success, with publishers feeling hopeful and reporting busy calendars for their rights teams.
