This year the event will be bringing together notable figures from various literary disciplines to share their insights and experiences with a diverse audience. The event is scheduled to take place from November 6 to 17 at Expo Centre Sharjah and promises a vibrant celebration of literature. Running over the course of 12 days, the fair will feature 500 cultural activities which includes various  discussions, workshops and seminars.

Attendees can participate in more than 1,357 activities led by 250 guests from 63 countries. This year's event will mark a significant milestone, with 400 authors signing their latest works. SIBF 2024 will welcome 2,522 publishers from 112 countries, including 835 from Arab nations and 264 international ones.  Additionally, visitors can look forward to 600 workshops, some of which will offer specialized, pre-booked sessions introduced for the first time at the fair.
