            <![CDATA[ <p>International Women’s Day is just around the corner, as a prelude to the special day, a week-long book fair is inaugurated offering a wide array of books on a range of topics at Jyotirao Phule park on Wednesday.&nbsp;<br><br>A heap of literary and cultural events majorly centered around women’s empowerment is going to take place at this week-long book fair, jointly organized by the Hyderabad Book Fair Society and the Telangana Book Trust.&nbsp;<br><br>Civil Supplies and Backward Classes Welfare Minister G Kamalakar inaugurated the fair. Telangana Sahitya Academy chairman Juluri Gowri Shankar, BC Welfare Department Principal Secretary B Venkatesham, CollectprR V Karnan, and a group of literary personalities, among others were present.&nbsp;</p><p><br>The minister said the book fair helps in fostering a culture of reading and traces out the rich literary culture of Telangana. He encouraged the denizens of the town, especially students, to fully make use of the events that feature a rich collection of around 20,000 books in nearly 50 stalls.&nbsp;</p><p><br>&nbsp;</p><p>He mentioned that the plans are in progress to distribute a diverse range of informative books to the State-run schools in the district soon. Mr. Gowri Shankar hailed the initiative of Mr. Karnan in organizing the mega book fair in Karimnagar.&nbsp;<br><br>Mr. Karnan had listed out the literary and cultural events lined up as a part of the book fair which is organized in celebration of International Women’s Day.&nbsp;</p><p><br><br>&nbsp;</p> ]]>
