            <![CDATA[ <p>New Delhi, December 3 (PTI) The third edition of Sahitya&nbsp; Akademi’s Pustakayan Book Fair will be held from December 6 at Rabindra Bhawan&nbsp; during which a number of literary and cultural events will be organised.&nbsp;</p><p>The event will be launched by&nbsp; Navtej Sarna, the Indian author and former Indian envoy to the United States and will have more&nbsp; than 40 publishers. The 10-day fair is to create the love for reading and literature among&nbsp; the people through different activities.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Here is the overview of the Fair&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The book fair will comprise&nbsp; Hindi Kavi Sammelan, Yuva Sahiti sessions, multilingual poets,&nbsp; mushairas, short story readings and discussions on various subjects. Other activities that will be conducted for children include painting&nbsp; competition, poetry recitation and storytelling sessions.&nbsp;</p><p>The opening ceremony will be headed by the President of&nbsp; Sahitya Akademi, Madhav Kaushik and Vice President Kumud Sharma.&nbsp; Some of the special guests include Ranjana Chopra, Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor, Ministry of&nbsp; Culture and Uma Nanduri, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Culture.&nbsp;</p><p>The fair will also have&nbsp; cultural performances by young artists every day to ensure that visitors have an enriching literary experience.&nbsp;</p><p>The&nbsp; Pustakayan Book Fair will be held from December 6 to December 15, thus,&nbsp; it is a book, creativity, and culture exchange forum, where everyone is welcomed to come and get&nbsp; into the world of books.</p> ]]>
