New Delhi: The PragatiE Vichaar Literature Festival (PVLF) 2027 is scheduled to take place on 9 January 2027 at the LTG Auditorium, Little Theatre Group, Mandi House, New Delhi. Organised by Frontlist Media, the upcoming edition marks the sixth edition of the literature festival.

The theme for PVLF 2027 is “Voices Without Borders – Bharat Likhe, Duniya Padhe”, with the festival bringing together authors, publishers, readers, translators and young literary voices through its physical and online programmes.

The Delhi edition will be accompanied by PVLF Worldwide, an online programme featuring authors and literary voices from different parts of the world. The festival will also include PVLF Junior, a dedicated programme for young writers between the ages of 5 and 17.

PVLF 2027 Programme

The festival's programming will cover a range of literary and contemporary themes, including Debut Authors, Fiction & Imagination, Translation & Languages, Diaspora Voices, Women & Identity, Politics & Society, Mental Resilience, Culture & Language, Publishing & Marketing, Diversity & Inclusion, Digital & Creator Economy, Climate & Sustainability, Memoirs & Personal Truths, and Breaking Genre Boundaries.

The programme is expected to feature author conversations, storytelling sessions, open mics, creative writing workshops, author interactions and discussions related to books and publishing.

According to information released by the festival, previous editions of PVLF have featured more than 300 authors from over 30 countries, alongside digital initiatives aimed at expanding the festival's reach.

PVLF Excellence Awards 2027

The PVLF Excellence Awards 2027 will also be part of the festival's sixth edition. The awards cover categories for authors, books, publishers and young literary talent.

The awards programme includes the PVLF Author Excellence Awards, PVLF People's Choice Publisher Awards and PVLF Junior Awards. The 2027 award nominations are currently open, with eligible books published between January 2024 and September 2026.

The awards process will include shortlisting and public participation, followed by the presentation of awards during the Delhi edition of PVLF 2027.

PVLF Author Marathon 2027

Another programme associated with the festival is the PVLF Author Marathon 2027, which will feature authors from different genres and languages. The online format allows participating authors to join from different locations and be part of the festival's digital programming.

With the Delhi edition scheduled for January 2027, PVLF will bring together its festival programmes, author sessions and awards activities at the LTG Auditorium, Mandi House.
