In order to empower female publishers to participate in a bigger community and to spur new partnerships and projects addressing diversity and inclusion in the sector, PublisHer was launched in Brazil, building on the global success of the program.

Al Qasimi participated in a lively discussion with panelists from Colombia and Brazil in a book fair roundtable titled "New Libraries, New Readers."

She discussed how the UAE transformed the House of Wisdom into a contemporary entryway to knowledge, culture, and learning by infusing a new vision and fresh approach. The IPA President also discussed the crucial function that libraries play in fostering community interaction, particularly in underdeveloped nations and crisis-ridden areas.
