MP CPCT score card validity has been extended to 7 years. Previously, the Madhya Pradesh Computer Proficiency Certification Test was valid for four years. School Education Minister Indersingh Parmar announced this through one of his tweets. The decision to extend the MP CPCT score card validity will benefit the students applying for grade 3, steno, data entry operator, and IT operator posts. The Madhya Pradesh school education minister asked the board to reform the CPCT certification exam. It is to be reformed in a way that the MP CPCT score card can be counted as valid in other states.
He further added that the latest technology should be used for real-time monitoring of the examination and quick result declaration. So, students need not wait long for the MP CPCT score card. The decision mentioned above has been taken in a meeting conducted by the education ministry on March 3, 2021.

MP CPCT is being held at regular intervals depending upon the number of candidates due to exam centres' test and availability. Candidates can reappear for the CPCT exam only six months from the last attended examination. By its order C3: 15/ 2014/1/3 dated February 26, 2015, the MP government has recognized CPCT as mandatory eligibility criteria for various government positions where computers and typing skill are essential requirements. The MP CPCT score card is valid only for government jobs. Students are advised to contact the Help Desk in case of any doubt. The MP CPCT Help Desk is available between 7.00 am to 11.00 pm on all weekdays except the holidays mentioned on the CPCT portal. The MP CPCT helpdesk number is displayed on the CPCT portal.
