<![CDATA[ Madurai to host book fair ]]> According to a press release, the Booksellers and Publishers Association of South India (BAPASI) and the district administration will host a giant book expo at the Tamukkam grounds from September 3 to 13.

Under the guidance of Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, Collector S. Aneesh Sekhar stated that the book fair intends to turn book reading into a people's movement.

The fair will include over 200 stalls and will be open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m.

The book fair's feature will be a children's hall with activities such as storytelling and workshops.

Experts will also hold workshops for those interested in poetry, essays, speeches, fiction, drama, cinema, archaeology, and fine arts.

Every evening, cultural programs by school and college students, as well as 'pattimandram' with popular speakers, will be held.

The Collector has invited children, students, and members of the general public to attend and benefit from the book fair.
