Amid Covid-19, Jawaharlal Nehru University has started reopening its campus in a phased manner. Now, the university has said that all of the final-year M Phil students who require access to the campus for the submission of their dissertation on time will be allowed to enter from March 8, 2021.

Further, JNU has also allowed the bachelors and masters students under the PWD category to enter the campus if they require access to laboratories and other facilities.

“The reopening of all authorised canteens except ‘Mughal durbar’ and food court has been allowed with immediate effect, besides railway reservation counter and service providing shops like hair saloon, cobblers and xerox outlets,” the university said in official order.

Earlier, the Jawaharlal Nehru University has allowed its fourth semester M Phil and MTech students of the science school and special center along with the final semester MBA students, both day-scholars and hostel residents, to return to the campus in the different phases of its reopening.
