Jamia Millia Islamia(JMI) on Wednesday, March 03, 2021, made special arrangements at the Vice Chancellor's office for teachers and officers of the university to attend a webinar on 'Harnessing education, Research and Skill Development for Atmánirbhar Bharat' organised by the Ministry of Education, Government of India.

JMI Vice-Chancellor Prof. Najma Akhtar, Registrar Dr Nazim Husain-Al Jafri, teachers and officers of the university watched the live streaming of the inaugural address by Prime Minister<a href=https://twitter.com/narendramodi?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor> Shri Narendra Modi</a>, valedictory address by the Education Minister <a href=https://twitter.com/DrRPNishank?ref_src=twsrc%5Egoogle%7Ctwcamp%5Eserp%7Ctwgr%5Eauthor>Ramesh Pokhriyal</a> and other sessions of the webinar.
<h3><strong>'Harnessing education, Research and Skill Development for Atmanirbhar Bharat' webinar attended by Jamia Millia Islamia</strong></h3>
As desired by the Prime Minister, teachers of the university vowed to work sincerely to develop content for engineering, medical, and other technical courses in Indian languages so that research and skill development can be given a new direction.
