The upcoming edition of the Jaipur Literature Festival, dubbed the "Greatest Literary Show on Earth," is a delicious feast of ideas. The event will be held at the Hotel Clarks Amer in Jaipur. It will take place from February 1 to February 5, 2024, and will feature its signature taste, substance, and scale, bringing together writers, readers, connoisseurs, influencers, and thinkers. The five-day literary extravaganza, themed 'Stories Unite Us,' aims to investigate literature's transformative potential, how it reflects society, and how it brings people together.

As in past years, the festival will promote linguistic variety by featuring a diverse range of languages and hosting discussions on literary works in languages such as Assamese, Hindi, Kannada, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, and Urdu.

Debra Diamond, curator of South Asian and Southeast Asian Art at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Asian Art; debut novelist of "Quarterlife" Devika Rege; best-selling American author of "The Heat Will Kill You First: Life and Death" Jeff Goodell; prize-winning and bestselling broadcaster Jerry Brotton; and award-winning author of three novels Nilanjana S Roy are also on the first list of speakers. Among those on the list are award-winning journalist-author Patrick Radden Keefe, journalist-novelist Raj Kamal Jha, British writer Ben Macintyre, 47 honorary doctorate recipient RA Mashelkar, and former Chief Justice of Orissa High Court S Muralidhar.
