Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni will play Lily and Ryle, respectively, in a movie based on the bestselling romance novel "It Ends With Us," according to author Colleen Hoover's Instagram post on Thursday.

Hoover also declared that the movie is being directed by Baldoni, who is most known for his part in "Jane the Virgin."

Hoover stated in her video, "I can't wait for you guys to see that Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively have what it takes to bring these characters to life.

The movie "It Ends With Us" is about Lily, a recent college graduate who struggles with a former relationship while falling in love with Ryle. The narrative focuses on domestic violence and the couple's unhealthy relationship.

Forty-three languages have published "It Ends With Us," which was the best-selling print book of 2022.

With more than 20 million books sold, Hoover is the best-selling novelist in the United States. Five of the top 10 print bestsellers in 2022 across all genres were written by Hoover.
