            <![CDATA[ <p>Eksmo Publishing House, a famous Russian publisher of science fiction and fantasy, has acquired the Russian translation rights to 'Sons of Darkness,' a new epic grim-dark fantasy novel by city-based Indian novelist Gourav Mohanty.</p><p>In a six-figure agreement, Eksmo's Alexey Burov bought world rights to the book in Russian from Indian publisher Leadstart (One Point Six Technologies Pvt Limited). The critically praised novel, set in a Vedic-inspired society plagued by wards and political intrigue, was released in June of this year by Leadstart.&nbsp;</p><p>In the novel, Mohanty, a lawyer-turned-author from Bhubaneswar, presents a grim-dark re-imagining of the Mahabharata's story of Muchukund. The tale also includes famous characters like Krishna, Satyabhama, Karna, and Shakuni who embark on unusual trips.</p><p>“Translations have always been the bridge between tales tethered to their regions of origin and world literature. I am thrilled that readers are going to discover the magic of ancient India in the Russian language following the translation of the book,” Mohanty said.</p> ]]>
