Namrata Singh is a poet, writer and tarot consultant whose journey brings together journalism, poetry and an exploration of the unconscious. After spending more than two decades in business journalism, she followed a calling to delve deeply into the realm of tarot, opening herself to a wealth of knowledge and wisdom that has informed her perspective and creative work.

At heart, Namrata is a writer, with poetry being a natural form of expression for her. Her second poetry book, Conversations With The Unconscious, continues her literary journey following the well-received The Inner Realm. Her writing reflects her interest in inner exploration and the deeper dimensions of human thought and experience.

Namrata began her journalism career in 1994 as a reporter with The Financial Express. By 2002, she was heading the newspaper’s corporate bureau. In 2005, she joined The Times of India, where she wrote about corporates and other business trends. Her extensive experience as a business journalist has given her a strong foundation in observation, analysis and communication.

A science graduate from Elphinstone College, Mumbai, Namrata also studied at G.D. Somani School in Mumbai, where she nurtured her skills as a poet. Her professional and creative journey now spans poetry, writing and tarot consultation, bringing together analytical thinking and intuitive exploration.
