            <![CDATA[ Kashmir Literature Festival 2026 Concludes with Strong Focus on Literature and Cultural Dialogue ]]>

            <![CDATA[ <p>The third installment of the Kashmir Literature Festival (KLF) culminated on May 31 at the Sher-i-Kashmir International Convention Centre (SKICC). This event marked the end of two days filled with literary talks and cultural performances at Srinagar.</p><p>On May 30 and 31, KLF organized a variety of literary talks and panels where intellectuals, diplomats, scholars, writers, policymakers, military veterans, artists, and people who love literature gathered to discuss issues relating to literature, history, education, media, geopolitics, and the rich culture of Kashmir.</p><p>Some of the books that were part of discussion panels during KLF were Viksit Bharat – India @ 2047, Grammar of Void, and Ramban: Folklore, Ophiolatry.</p><p>Another highlight of the final day included a discussion of the work Phuljhadian Inshayion Ki authored by eminent writer Ghulam Hassan Talib, which received active response from the audience consisting of avid readers and literary admirers.</p><p>Organized by the Srikula Foundation, the event focused on promoting discussions and interaction among people in literary circles. In his inaugural address at the festival, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha emphasized the contribution of writers, poets and scholars in moulding society and ensuring the continuity of its culture and heritage.</p><p>Speakers throughout the course of the festival stressed the importance of literature in encouraging critical thought processes, building cultural awareness and establishing cohesion in society. The various topics discussed during the festival included the changing media scenario, educational reforms, the civilizational past of India and other pertinent issues.</p><p>The organizers expressed satisfaction at the level of participation recorded this year in terms of the number of authors, publishers, students and lovers of literature who joined the festival.</p><p>Concluding the festival on a high note, the participants described it as an important forum for cultural interaction in Jammu &amp; Kashmir.</p> ]]>
