At the same time, it highlights the need for stronger copyright protection, creator rights and responsible adoption of technology as the industry evolves.</p><p>Vikrant Mathur, Executive Director, NielsenIQ BookData, India &amp; GCC, said the report aims to provide a clearer understanding of the scale, structure and evolution of India’s publishing sector by combining market data with industry expertise. He noted that the findings could serve as a resource for businesses, policymakers and other stakeholders planning for the industry’s future.</p><p>Pranav Gupta, Vice President, Federation of Indian Publishers, emphasised the importance of reliable data and research as the publishing industry develops. He said the report seeks to support evidence-led discussions and meaningful action across the sector.</p><p>The report also received recognition from publishing and education leaders.
