Vish Dhamija is an international award-winning British Indian crime fiction writer with twelve novels to his name. He is the first writer of Indian origin to win the prestigious Prix Cognac 2024 du Meilleur Roman International (Cognac Prize 2024 for Best International - Crime) at the Festival Polar de Cognac for his novel Le Magnat, published in India as The Mogul. The French press has also celebrated him as one of the five crime writers not to be missed.

Often referred to as 'India's John Grisham', Dhamija stands out as the only writer of Indian origin to be listed among the major legal thriller authors in the world. His books are highly sought after for adaptation. Bhendi Bazaar will soon be brought to screen and four of Dhamija's other works are currently in various stages of screen adaptation.
