These longlisted authors are contemporary writers and are a mixture of established and new writers. The categories are fiction, non-fiction, poetry, business writing and translation, and continue the awards’ mission of promoting literary diversity in multiple forms.

The awards were started in 2021 and have become an important platform for all genres of impactful, well-written works, in many languages.
